Songfacts®:

  • This song is about how we are only human, born to make mistakes, but it doesn't mean we should unfairly be judged or condemned by the person we're in a relationship with. No one is perfect after all. >>>

  • The chorus is "Uh oh, I f--ked it up again," which of course is not suitable for airplay. Puddle Of Mudd released a clean version with the F-bomb omitted that was included on the album.
  • The music video, directed by Reuben Armstrong, finds lead singer Wes Scantlin getting arrested after an altercation at a trailer park. He also gets a tattoo, breaks up with his girlfriend, and sets his trailer on fire.
  • "Uh Oh" is the lead single from Welcome To Galvania, the first Puddle Of Mudd since their compilation re:(disc)overed in 2011. Apart from lead singer Wes Scantlin, the band had a completely different lineup for the two albums. Scantlin explained: "Sometimes in life you come across people who want to bring you down and rip apart your soul. Well, those days are gone. I have surrounded myself with a great team of people. They believe in me and I believe in them."
  • The Welcome To Galvania album was produced by Cameron Webb, known for his work with Disturbed and Alkaline Trio.
