Songfacts®:

  • On this song, which features Norah Jones, Q-Tip pays tribute to all his favorite rappers. The list includes Biz Markie, LL Cool J, Snoop Dogg, Eazy-E, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and Pimp C.
  • Norah Jones recalled to Mojo that she wanted to sing her vocals an octave down, but Q-Tip wanted her to sing it high. She told him, "It's too high for me, I'll sound like Minnie Mouse."

The rapper asked her to just try it, so Jones had a go at singing it high. "It sounds awesome," she admitted to the magazine. "He pushed me out of my comfort zone. But it's not like I was faking it. Trying new things can lead you to a place where you're still yourself."
