Songfacts®:

  • "Take Love" is an up-tempo bluesy Rock song written predominately by Paul Rodgers. It was debuted on the North America tour in 2006, to a strong fan response, and the assumption was that it would be on their upcoming album The Cosmos Rocks. In the end it remains unreleased - the rumour being that the song was recorded in sessions at Roger Taylor's house, but the band were unsatisfied with the recording and there was no time to fix it.

It remains unreleased, but with Brian May discussing the possibility of unreleased Queen tracks being re-worked for release, it could see the light of day - or alternatively it could come out as a Paul Rodgers recording, as he was the main author of this track.
