    "There's a lot of pain in there, but it's not always mine. Like, my mate told me one night when we were getting drunk that his missus had made it so he wasn't allowed to see his daughter any more. I was like, 'This is too deep to not write a song about it, and the next day I'd got 'No Mother.'"
