Songfacts®:

  • This smooth slice of modern pop combines Raye's vocals with those of Afrobeat star Mr. Eazi. The Nigerian singer-songwriter is known for pioneering Banku Music, a fusion sound he describes as the mixture of "Ghanaian bounces, Ghanaian highlife, Nigerian chord progressions, and Nigerian patterns."
  • Raye wrote the song with English producer Fraser T Smith, whose credits include Adele's US #1 hit "Set Fire To The Rain." He also produced UK chart-toppers by Tinchy Stryder ("Never Leave You", "Number 1"), Pixie Lott ("Boys and Girls") and Taio Cruz ("Break Your Heart").
  • Smith's production reworks the chorus medley from Ja Rule and Ashanti's 2001 hit single "Always On Time."
  • The song's music video was shot on location in Cuba by director Singh J Lee.
