  • Rich Amiri, real name Amiri Dexter Chase, is a rapper and singer-songwriter. He was born in Atlanta and raised in Randolph, Massachusetts.
  • His music blends elements of soul, hip-hop and the trap subgenre pluggnB. Amir's striking vocals are described as "honeyed" and "hypnotic." "People always ask me the question, but that's just my voice," he said. "I don't try to sound like this. That's just how my voice developed."
  • He started rapping by freestyling at the lunch table at high school, then began recording from his Massachusetts bedroom, co-engineering his early tracks. Amiri dropped his debut song, "For Me," onto Soundcloud when was 15.
  • His influences include Lil Tecca, Lil Keed and Brent Faiyaz. Amiri secured his first collaboration with a major artist when Lil Tecca jumped on his "Poppin'" single in 2023.
  • Amiri rose to popularity in late 2023 with the singles "Aint Nothing," "Codeine Crazy" and "One Call," all cuts from his Ghetto Fabulous album.
