Songfacts®:

  • This '70s Soul-inflected track finds Ross and Andre 3000 reminiscing on a more innocent time than where they are now. The song title references the standard 16 bars that rap purists claim is the perfect verse length. However, Ross questions how he can squeeze all he wants to say about his life into a sixteen bar verse.
  • The J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, who consists of Erik "Rook" Ortiz, Kevin "Colione" Crowe and Kenny "Barto" Bartolomei, crafted the song. The production trio took their name from the DC Comics superhero team the Justice League and the moniker doubles up by also standing for 'Just Undeniably Some of The Illest Composers Ever.' After crafting four tracks on Rozay's sophomore set Trilla, the three producers have gone on to land tracks on each of the Bawse's following albums. Other artists they've worked with include Mary J. Blige, Lil Wayne and Lloyd Banks.
