• Black Panther: Wakanda Forever begins after the passing of T'Challa, king of Wakanda, played by the late actor Chadwick Boseman in the original Black Panther movie. It follows the Wakanda people as they fight to protect their land in the wake of King T'Challa's death. Rihanna sings of the Wakanda inhabitants' love for their fictional East African country. They've lost their king but are determined to fight on and defend their nation, whatever it takes. The Wakanda people know that if T'Challa was "born again" he would do the same.
• "Born Again" is one of two original songs Rihanna recorded for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The anthemic ballad follows "Lift Me Up," which Marvel released as the soundtrack's lead single.
