Songfacts®:

  • This song about getting your mum to do some dance moves is the third single lifted from British hip hop duo Rizzle Kicks' debut album Stereo Typical. Norman Cook, aka Fatboy Slim, who like Rizzle Kicks resides in Brighton, produced the track.
  • The video was directed by Jordan Stephens and features the rapping talents of the Rizzle Kicks duo's actual mums. Later on James Cordon turns up and joins in with the dancing. This is not the first time the comic actor has tipped his toes into music waters. Back in 2010 Corden linked up with Dizzee Rascal to perform the chart-topping World Cup tie-in single "Shout For England."
