Songfacts®:

  • Each year, BTS mark the anniversary of their 2013 debut album 2 Cool 4 Skool, which they released on June 12, 2013. Over a couple of weeks in June, the K-Pop group treat the ARMY to a series of new photos, video content and fresh music. RM rolled out this song as part of the 2021 celebrations.
  • Over a leisurely piano and acoustic guitar, RM talks about his feelings when he went cycling in his hometown during the COVID-19 pandemic. "For me, riding a bike always gives me a thrill, but when I put my feet on the two pedals it always feels a bit sad," the Rap Monster wrote on BTS' blog. "Whether it's because there's a lot of things that I miss... Even I don't know the reason."

He added: "Ever since I was a trainee, I always wanted to move the blurry scenery that I couldn't quite capture while riding a bicycle into a song."
  • Released on June 6, 2021, the song is RM's first solo material since he dropped his 2018 mixtape, Mono.
  • RM produced, wrote and arranged the song alongside singer-songwriter John Eun. RM previously provided backing vocals on Eun's 2020 song "Hope."
  • Sungsic Moon created the artwork for the release. RM has long admired the Korean artist, and asked him to be involved with his project.
