  • Robin Thicke released his debut album in 2003. A Beautiful World received very little promotion, and sold a disappointing 63,000 copies. The singer penned this piano and strings ballad during his tour for his second LP. "After my first album didn't sell any records, and the balloon popped, I had some tough years there," explained Thicke to VH1, "I started drinking a lot, I tried yoga, I tried to find God. During [The Evolution Of Robin Thicke tour], I wrote this song about not being a big star, and the kids in your town not knowing your name, and yet realizing I had an amazing wife, some great friends, and that was a good life even if I wasn't going to be a big star."
