Songfacts®:

  • Robyn described this mystical 10-minute epic to The Guardian as being "about death", "defining who you are" and "a physical sensation of an emotion," inspired by the Juliana Cerqueira Leite clay sculptures she saw at London's Saatchi Gallery.
  • A portion of the song was used to soundtrack the 'Made By Sweden' advertising campaign from Volvo, highlighting the company's new low-emission Drive-E engines. The 150-second commercial was directed by Robyn's boyfriend, Max Vitali and the dialogue was written by the singer, who also stars in the ad.

Robyn had never previously used her music to soundtrack an advertisement, much less appeared in one. "It's not a commercial about a car - it's a commercial about a way of thinking," she told Billboard magazine regarding Volvo's promises that their new engine reduces emissions by 30 percent.
  • Regarding the song's three-minute drums'n'sax instrumental portion, Robyn said. "We decided, 'Oh, let's not be afraid of being pretentious this time, let's not censor ourselves, let's just see what happens.'"
  • The song's music clip was directed by Robyn's frequent collaborator Max Vitali. The director explained that the video is about, "exploring the space around you and finding your own space in it all."
