  • Piers Agget, and DJ Locksmith grew up on the same road in Hackney, whilst Kesi Dryden lived just around the corner in Stoke Newington. All three were childhood friends.
  • Dryden went to the same school as Labrinth and Professor Green.
  • Aggett and Dryden, both graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University in 2008 from the BSc (Hons) Creative Music and Sound Technology course.
  • Dryden, Aggett and Rolle met Amir at his studio, and he joined the trio in mid-2011 after working with them on some remixes.
  • The name Rudimental came from Dryden's childhood piano book.
  • Rudimental rose to prominence in 2012 when their single "Feel The Love" topped the UK Singles Chart. The song also was a top 5 hit in Australia, Belgium, The Netherlands and New Zealand.
  • Leon "DJ Locksmith" Rolle's name originates from a brief stint at Rushmore Primary School in Hackney, where he "borrowed" the caretaker's keys and rented rooms out to pupils.
