Songfacts®:

  • The follow-up to "Rover (Mu la la)," "Loose" features a head-bopping melody reminiscent of S1mba's breakthrough hit. Released on September 11, 2020, it finds the rapper relaxed, carefree and ready to embrace what's left of the summer. He explained to Capital Xtra, "the whole idea of it was I wanted it to be fun."
  • KSI joins S1mba on the playful track. The Swindon-based rapper explained that after he came up with the song in the studio, he wanted someone who would "bring fun and energy" to the cut, so he hit up KSI, who readily agreed to jump on it.
  • S1mba and KSI wrote the track between them. "Rover" producer RELYT and Grades (Young T & Bugsey's "Don't Rush") came up with the smooth rap beat.
