Songfacts®:

  • "Bad Motor Scooter" is credited by Sammy Hagar as the first song he ever wrote. It may be his first solo effort, but this is one he has probably forgotten, understandably so. Running to around 2 minutes 12 seconds, "Reach Out To Find Me" is credited to Pete Samson and Sam Hagar; released as a single in 1967 by Samson & Hagar on the Ranwood label, it has a much lighter feel, and luckily for the man who would become the Red Rocker, it sank without a trace. Or it would have if some idiot hadn't gone and invented the Internet. >>>
