  • This was written by American Southern gospel singer-songwriter Dottie Rambo. Amongst other Rambo songs Patti has recorded include "He Was The Talk Of The Town," "I Will Lift You There" and "Keeper Of The Well." Dottie Rambo was a prolific songwriter, whose compositions featured in numerous television soundtracks and movie soundtracks. One of her best known songs "I Go To The Rock," was included on the soundtrack of the 1996 film The Preacher's Wife.
  • The first time Sandi Patti heard this song was on a demo tape and she was immediately mesmerized by it. She told CCM Magazine presents 100 Greatest Songs In Christian Music that she played the demo to her arranger, David Clydesdale at their next meeting. She added: "We were sitting at my little spinet piano, talking about that song. And while we were sitting there, he started arranging the orchestration, and two hours later, it was done. Wrote it right there on the spot, and the next day the musicians were playing it."
