  • The first time Sandi Patti heard this song was on a demo tape and she was immediately mesmerized by it. She told CCM Magazine presents 100 Greatest Songs In Christian Music that she played the demo to her arranger, David Clydesdale at their next meeting. She added: "We were sitting at my little spinet piano, talking about that song. And while we were sitting there, he started arranging the orchestration, and two hours later, it was done. Wrote it right there on the spot, and the next day the musicians were playing it."
  • Among the other artists to record this song are The Imperials and Vickie Winans.
