Songfacts®:

  • This song is a mash up of the instrumental track of Sash!'s debut single "Encore Une Fois" which peaked at #2 in the UK in March 1997 and Stunt's 2006 international club hit "Raindrops," which itself was a reworking of the "Encore Une Fois" original.
  • Sash! are a German production team fronted by Sascha Lappessen plus Ralf Kappmeier and Thomas "Alisson" Lüdke. They achieved nine UK Top 10 hits between 1997 and 2000, including five, which peaked at #2, but never managed that elusive chart-topper. Stunt is a UK dance music project made up of Gary Johnson, Scott Chester, Dave Valler and Simon Wills. Molly Smitten-Downes was the vocalist on "Raindrops."
  • Sash!'s original version of "Encore Une Fois" featured the uncredited vocals of German singer Sabine Ohmes, who performs only in French. After the song's success she took on the alias of Encore and the following year she achieved a #12 UK hit with "Le Disc Jockey."
