  • Your body shape was a warning sign
With a face made for TV
I knew it was only just a matter of time
You were caught in the headlights of your dream

Frontman Henry Camamile wrote this song specifically about an actress girlfriend who went onto greater things while he was still a musician working shifts in a pub. When it became one of Sea Girls' most successful early tracks, the singer became concerned she would be identified. He told The Sun:

"We didn't have any idea of how popular that song was going to be. It's a lost-love song but I was worried it was going to be too specific to me and my ex at the time and being apart from someone in that way."
  • Henry Camamile wrote the song about wanting his ex-girlfriend to still care for him. He explained to Apple Music: "I've made the mistake in life of seeing my worth in the approval of who I'm going out with. So it plays on that idea, and still wanting approval after it's happened and life's moved on. Maybe I've done something impressive that I should be proud about myself, but I'm not able to see it. That's the general mood of it."
