Songfacts®:

  • Sech (birth name Carlos Isaias Morales Williams) is an Afro-Panamanian artist who started as a street vendor singing songs as people walked by. After being discovered by producer Dimelo Flow, Sech was signed to Rich Music and released his debut studio album Sueños in April 2019.
  • "Otro Trago" (English: "Another Drink") was released as a single on April 19, 2019. It finds Sech singing about a girl drowning her sorrows away at a club following a breakup. A translation of the chorus into English goes:

When the DJ plays the song
    She dances like never
    And now in the dark
I caught her forgetting her grief

Fueled by alcohol, the girl is able to temporary escape her heartbreak on the dancefloor.
  • The original version of the song featuring Puerto Rican rapper Darell quickly became a hit in Spanish-speaking countries, topping the charts in Argentina, Colombia, Honduras, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru and Spain. "Otto Trago" also became Sech's first hit on the US Hot 100.
  • A remix featuring Nicky Jam, Ozuna, and Anuel AA was released on June 26, 2019.
