Songfacts®:

  • Sepultura is a Metal band from Brazil. Their vocalist/guitarist Max Cavalera told Holland edition Aardschok/Metal Hammer in April 1991: "'Murder' is one of the slower songs on the album and there is little change in tempo during the entire song. The lyrics are about the penal system in South America in general and Brazil in particular. If you thought that apartheid only existed in South Africa, then you need to take a look inside a Brazilian prison. 'Murder' is the total opposite of what everybody thinks about Brazil. Brazil isn't just sunshine, the beach and beautiful women, you know." >>>

  • Dzo from AtlantaSepultura should get back together. I bet I would really jam
  • Dzo from AtlantaThis new world
    Let's go of the old
    The day's of the past
    The prophecies told
    Now here
    For all to see
    Is now the thing
    That should not be
    A demon among us
    Walks the land
    A virus he holds
In the palm of his hand
    But we are not damned
    By this alone
    For sins committed
    We must atone
    Then the Father
    He may forgive
    So the demon dies
    So we may live
    We were made
    To help each other
    Sister for sister
    Brother for brother
    Friend for friend
    Life for life
    Child for child
    Husband and wife
    Now follow your heart
    And not your mind
    Then we will see
    When we are blind.
    Once again thank you Songfacts
For this opportunity to release my pain.
    Luv you guys. Dzo.
