Songfacts®:

  • Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet were a Canadian instrumental group formed in 1984 by drummer Don Pyle, guitarist Brian Connelly, and the late bassist Reid Diamond. They were popular enough to win the Juno award for Instrumental Artist of the Year in 1992, but finally disbanded in 1996. The trio are most remembered for this single, which was the theme song for the sketch comedy The Kids In The Hall, which aired on TV from 1988 to 1994. >>>
