  • This Is Acting pays tribute to Sia's main love, writing hit songs for other artists. The photophobic Australian hadn't planned on being a pop star herself, and the album consists entirely of songs that were originally penned for A-listers such as Rihanna, Beyoncé and Adele.

    The intended singer of this dance track was Shakira, which is apparent on first listen. "One of them is a Shakira reject, which there's no doubt when you hear it. You'll know that it was a Shakira reject because I sound like Shakira," Sia told Rolling Stone.
  • The '80s-themed throwback lyric video explores the fictional origin story of Sia's trademark black-and-blonde wig. The clip stars 8-year-old Lilliana Ketchman, a Dance Moms star just like frequent Sia collaborator Maddie Ziegler.
