Songfacts®:

  • The song title translates to "four pianos" in English. The four band members created the tune, each separately playing along to a loop. Bassist Georg Hólm told The Independent the resulting coherent music demonstrates the bond that exists between the quartet. "It was like that 18 years ago," he said. "We're inseparable. I would find it very, very difficult to make music with anyone else."
  • The song's music video was written and directed by Alma Har'el (whose Bombay Beach won Best Documentary at the 2011 Tribeca Film Festival), and is part of a series created for the band's Valtari album. The clip features a naked Shia LaBeouf, best known for his lead role in the Transformers movie series and according to bassist Georg Holm, the director and LaBeouf collaborated on the idea for the domestic drama. Lebeouf previously dipped his toe into the music video world when he directed the visuals for Cage's "I Never Knew You" and Kid Cudi's "MANIAC." The video co-stars Nebraska born dancer and actress Denna Thomsen. Other visuals that Thomsen has appeared in include Adam Lambert's "For Your Entertainment" and Eric Hutchinson's "Watching You Watching Him."
