Songfacts®:

  • Slash wrote this typically riff-heavy anthem on the spot for his Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators backing band. His intention was to help them get up and running once they were in the studio recording material for Living The Dream and it came together relatively effortlessly. "It's just a go-for-it type of song," Slash said. "Pretty straightforward rock and fun to play."

Vocalist Myles Kennedy added: "Lyrically, it's about how when things are going well there always tends to be someone who tries to rain on your parade and knock you down. You have to keep people like that in check and not let them get to you."
  • Fans helped create the song's live music video during the group's two-hour show on the final date of their 2018 fall US headlining tour at the Palladium in Hollywood, California. Fans shot live footage of the concert via the Cinebody app which was then edited by actor and director Clifton Collins Jr. to create the final clip.
