Songfacts®:

  • In December 2009, Smoke Fairies became the first British act to release a single on Jack White's label, Third Man Records. This song is one half of the double A-side single, which was produced by White.
  • White plays a dramatic guitar solo on this song. "He said: 'Oh I've changed the ending a little bit. I hope you are OK with this,'" Smoke Fairy Katherine Blamire told The Independent. "We listened to it and it was just like an explosion had gone off at the end."
  • Smoke Fairies have maintained their relationship with White and supported him on his 2013 solo tour.
