• This is the fourth single from Northern Irish Alternative rock band Snow Patrol's sixth album, Fallen Empires. Lead singer Gary Lightbody explained the track's meaning to Billboard magazine: "This song is about kind of realizing what the truth is; realizing, kinda like 'Life-ning,' all that matters is having love in your life, be it family, friends, a girlfriend or boyfriend and that everything can be boiled down to that and maybe that is the meaning of life."
• The retro video was shot in Los Angeles. Lightbody wrote on the band's web site: "My idea was to make an MGM musical style video. The incredible Brett Simon (who directed the last two also) again took my kernel of an idea scrawled drunkenly on the back of a cocktail napkin and turned it into something truly magical and way beyond anything I could have imagined or hoped for.We had two wonderful dancers (Rhapsody and Jared) who played our very own Fred and Ginger," he continued. "Such a lovely day and the video is going to look so beautiful."
