Killer On The Loose

Album: Rocktober Blood (1984)

Songfacts®:

  • Not to be confused with the Phil Lynott composition from the 1980 Chinatown album, and probably not the least bit inspired or influenced by it, this "Killer On The Loose" was written by Richard Taylor and performed by Sorcery. It featured in the offbeat 1984 horror film Rocktober Blood, a slightly gory film that appears to have been banned in Queensland, Australia, and nowhere else.

The killer is ostensibly a serial murderer rock star who was executed and returns from the dead. As things turned out, there was nothing supernatural about the second wave of murders, and there was nothing super anything about this film, although the soundtrack is quite reasonable. >>>
