Songfacts®:

  • Spoon frontman Britt Daniel told UK newspaper The Sun how producer Dave Fridmann transformed this track from its original demo.

"On Pink Up, Friedmann helped push it into groove world," said Daniel. "It was already this long trippy thing and we had a programmed drum track to it. He replaced it with a huge four on the floor kick drum. So you still had the weird song on the album, only now you could dance to it."
