  • "Fill Me Up" is a track from Staind's fourth album, 14 Shades Of Grey. Aaron Lewis was married to Vanessa when the band issued their second album, Dysfunction, in 1999, which was their major-label debut. As the title implies, a lot of it deals with his issues, which he worked out in the songs. Their next album, Break The Cycle, was also pretty intense, but by 14 Shades Of Grey, Lewis was more grateful than angry. By that time, he was a father, and Vanessa supported him even though he had to spend a lot of time away from home. The lead single, "Price To Play," is an angry song, but some of the others, including "Fill Me Up," show a different side of him.
