Songfacts®:

  • Stay Flee Get Lizzy is the musical project of streetwear label founder Dion "Sincere" Hamilton. This song, featuring West London rappers Fredo and Central Cee, is the lead single of his debut album.
  • The song finds Fredo and Central Cee spitting cocky rhymes about their "mobster" lifestyle. The title comes from Fredo stating that all the money he has accumulated through his drug dealing and rapping is "meant to be."
  • This is the third time Fredo collaborated with Stay Flee Get Lizzy, following the entrepreneur's breakthrough 2018 single "Ay Caramba" and the 2019 song "2 Cups."

The track represents the first time Central Cee has worked with either artist.
  • LayZBeats did the booming drill production. The beatmaker's other credits include YoungBoy Never Broke Again's "Drug Addiction" and French Montana's "Cold."
  • Suave directed the video, which shows Fredo and Central Cee's lavish lifestyle comprising girls, diamonds, designer clothing and plenty of cash.
