Songfacts®:

  • Born and raised in Forest Gate, East London, Pahuldip Sandhu is a British hip-hop producer, songwriter, and DJ who performs under the name of Steel Banglez. His resume features collaborations with many of the hottest artists in the UK grime and urban scene of the 2010s. They include beats supplied for the likes of Dave ("No Words"), Mist ("Game Changer") and J.Hus ("Fisherman"), as well as a remix of Rudimental's "Sun Comes Up."
  • "Bad" is Steel Banglez's first Top 40 UK hit under his own name. The banger features verses by Not3s, Mr Eazi, and Yungen plus a hook sung by MoStack over the producer's melodic beat. Steel Banglez explained:

"'Bad' is a track produced by me and my brother Zeph Ellis. I had a vision to bring together the most successful and unique artists of 2017 on one track. It was great to see such energy and I'm very grateful to all of them, especially MoStack for blessing me again with such a great chorus. This is a club banger for the mandem to play for the gal dem and a track for the ladies to vibe to with each other. 'Bad' is a perfect scenario of a women who's part of the gang and is down for the team."
