Songfacts®:

  • Stefflin Don's follow-up to her breakthrough hit "Hurtin' Me" is according to the press release, "built around a Simpsons-induced rework of Chuck Berry." The rock 'n' roll pioneer's entendre filled song "My Ding-a-Ling" ended up making it into an episode of The Simpsons and it is that cartoon cover which had been sampled by the Birmingham artist.
  • The track finds Stefflon Don coming together with UK grime star Skepta. Speaking to NME about the collaboration, Stefflon Don said:

"We actually didn't go in the studio together, but I know Skepta and we talk, we're friends. He's cool, very humble. It's very much a banger, but I'll let you decide."
  • The song was produced by Rymez, whose other credits include Wiley's 2012 Top 3 UK single "Can You Hear Me (Ayayaya)" as well as "Hurtin' Me."
