This instrumental, the last track on Stevie Ray Vaughan's 1983 debut album, Texas Flood, was written for and dedicated to his beloved wife Lenora, who was known as "Lenny." Lenora once said that she never listened to the song without crying.
Vaughan played most of this song with his Stratocaster named "Lenny." The guitar was given to him by his wife and some close friends for his birthday.
