  • Stray Kids is a South Korean boy band formed by JYP Entertainment through the 2017 reality show of the same name. Rather than individuals surviving to become a team, the team was pre-selected and the trainees performed self-composed songs, working towards the goal of debuting together.
  • The Stray Kids reality show ran from October 17 to December 19, 2017. Their debut song, "Hellevator," was released as a digital single on November 1, 2017.
  • The group started as a nine-piece before member Woojin left because of undisclosed personal reasons in October 2019.
  • Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han are also members of the in-house songwriting and production trio 3Racha (pronounced "three-racha"). The group was formed in 2016 and has been responsible for producing a significant portion of Stray Kids' music.
  • Stray Kids' sound combines elements of K-pop, hip-hop, and electronic music. The Korean media describe the group's distinctive combination of genre and sound as "mala taste."
  • When their March 2022 EP, Oddinary, topped the Billboard 200, Stray Kids became the third K-pop act (following BTS and SuperM) to lead the all-genre chart.
