  • This was written by the songwriting and production team Xenomania. Brian Higgins of Xenomania told Music Week magazine that the success of this song proved that pop music doesn't have to be straight forward. He explained that Xenomania started off making fairly conventional pop songs, with verse, chorus, verse, etc such as Girls Aloud's "Sound Of The Underground." However, "the more complex side has just evolved as we have tried to make better records, but it is not something we feel compelled to do." Higgins added that this song "is very odd; there is a tempo change and few repetitive melodies but that was still an international hit. At the time we thought we can do this our way and still be successful. If you listen to The Police and Bowie you realize that in a lot of their greatest hits the verse melodies never repeated."
  • This was based around a sample of Dublex Inc's 2001 song "Tango Forte."
  • The song featured on the soundtrack to the 2002 Daisy von Scherler Mayer film The Guru, which starred Heather Graham and Jimi Mistry.
