Songfacts®:

  • Lead singer and guitarist Deryck Whibley wrote this about one of his old girlfriends. He spends the length of the song unloading his grievances with her, explaining that his brain gets sore when he had to listen to her and he's too young (19) to make the kind of commitment she's looking for.
  • This is part of Sum 41's debut album, All Killer No Filler, which got the Canadian rockers lots of attention thanks to the song "Fat Lip." They played "Crazy Amanda Bunkface" at their concerts quite a bit early on, but not very often once their next album, Does This Look Infected? was released in 2002.
