Songfacts®:

  • This smooth banger finds Summer Walker singing of the impact a guy has had on her. It has left her wanting to "come thru" in the middle of the night to "replay" all the things they did; the Atlanta songstress is even thinking of "cutting all ties" with the other men she's seeing.
  • Walker's producer/boyfriend London On Da Track built the song's beat around the keyboard line of Usher's 1997 single "You Make Me Wanna." In addition to directly sampling the production, Walker interpolates the first part of Usher's original chorus when she sings on the hook:

You make me wanna come through
    Quarter after two
Just to put it down on you
  • Usher himself delivers the second verse, in which he takes the part of Summer Walker's new lover. He is aware she's got other men in her life and he wants to make sure she's going to be loyal.
  • Usher and Walker performed the song live together during the songstress' First and Last Tour's Los Angeles stop on November 8, 2019.
  • Director Lacey Duke shot the steamy video at the 285 Flea Market in Atlanta, the hometown of both singers.

The sultry clip features shots of Walker riding on the back of a motorcycle, inside the flea market, and pictured with London on Da Track. Just short of the two-minute mark, Usher appears, crooning inside a deserted Flea Mart while wooing another woman. Walker watches on from the store's counter as Usher shows off his silky dance moves. Jermaine Dupri also cameos in the clip.
