  "There's a song where I talk about sleeping with my ex-boyfriend's friend because he purposefully left me on Valentine's Day, which will be the first time he hears about it."
• The magical video, directed by Nabil, finds SZA strutting through woodland like she's on a fashion runway. She befriends there some fairy children, who give her the power to shoot firecrackers from her fingers. The songstress uses this new ability to shoot down a former lover who wronged her.
• SZA told MTV News this was the easiest song to make on CTRL. She explained: "It was like a hodge-podge of all my thoughts."
  
  "I was dating this boy and I really liked him, and he just really had a lot of access to supermodels and really pretty women," SZA continued. "The same boy that I wrote 'Supermodel' about, he laughed at everything I tried to do. If I tried to sing, or if I thought I was too cute, he'd be like, 'Haha, no.' I could be bad, but to a certain extent. 'Don't think you're too bad. Don't think you're above me.'"
• Producer Pharrell Williams tried adding several different instruments, including drums, but because of the quiet nature of the song, nothing worked. "This is the first time that's ever happened to me - where I could not alter something to make it better." SZA told Billboard magazine. "You either keep it the way it is or you scrap it. But I didn't want to scrap it."
• CTR opens with "Supermodel"; however, SZA had to fight to keep the song at the top of the tracklist. Both her manager and Kendick Lamar tried to persuade the singer to move the tune to the middle of the album in favor of having a more high-profile track at the front. SZA insisted she wanted to kick things off with "Supermodel" and eventually won the argument.
