Songfacts®:

  • T-Pain has been married to Amber since 2003. This love ballad finds the singer-rapper crooning about how the couple worked through a difficult patch in their relationship. He explained to Reuters: "It's basically about the problems I've had with my wife, going through all the stuff we went through and how we bounced back. It's like falling in love a second time."
  • T-Pain is renowned for extensively using the Auto-Tune pitch correction effect on his songs. However, this touching ballad finds him dropping the enhanced effects and showcasing his natural vocals. He explained why to Reuters: "Certain songs are right for it, others don't need it. It's basically just the feeling of the song. It's a fun effect, but if you're trying to do a heartfelt song, you don't want to use a fun effect on it."
