Songfacts®:

  • This song was written and produced by Tamela Mann's longtime friend and collaborating partner, Kirk Franklin. The gospel star recalled how she was in funk after a recent robbery, until she unexpectedly heard the song on the radio for the first time. Mann told Yahoo the suspects had stolen her jewelry along with her husband David's backpack containing his computer, travel documents and other belongings.

"It actually comforted me," she said. "The lyrics were talking to me for the situation I was in. Yes, you lost something, but God said, 'I'll make everything just due.' It came at the right time."
  • This won the Grammy Award for Best Gospel Performance/Song at the 2017 ceremony.
