  • This soulful power ballad finds Matty Healy singing about his love for The 1975's fans. He wonders how he'd feel if they stopped caring and he lost his fan base.

So, what about these feelings I've got?
We got it wrong and you said you'd had enough
But what about these feelings I've got?
I couldn't be more in love.

Healy presents the tune as a love song, even throwing in a "she" at one point to throw people off. He explained to Genius, this is, "because I love form. I love what makes a love song."
  • The 1975 frontman admitted that it's not very rock and roll to talk about his worries over losing his fan base, but he's done so anyway. "If I get it wrong, you don't have many chances in this world," Healy said. "It's scary being presented with such an amazing reality. The idea that it can be taken away from you terrifies me, so that's what the song is about."
  • In 2017 Healy checked into a rehab center in order to sort out his addiction to heroin. He recorded his vocals for this song the day before he went to rehab, which explains why they sound so intense. The 1975 singer told Pitchfork:

"To be fair, I sang it better when I got out, but there was just something in those vocals. It was kind of guttural. I was really upset and scared. I feel like there's a hopelessness in the vocal performance."
  • The 1975 gave the song its live debut during their concert at Circo Voador in Rio de Janeiro on April 4, 2019.
