  • This largely instrumental song is the title track of The 1975's second album. Asked by Billboard magazine why the record's title is so long, vocalist Matt Healy replied: "At the time I started making the record I was scared about a lot of things. And I realized the only thing that will define this album is its conviction. The title was something I said to a girlfriend. Not in such a poetic situation - not on her four-post bed as I leaned out the window with a cigarette - but I remembered it and wrote it down. And before I made the album I made the decision, that's the name of the album. Because it makes me feel slightly uneasy. I believe in it and it just feels right. If I make this decision now and stand by it, then that becomes the ethos for the album."
  • Healy told Rolling Stone the record's title was, "something I said to a girlfriend of mine at the time. Like all situations, I'm sure it wasn't quite as poetic as it sounds."

"We had gone from an unknown band to known about so we were being objectified and known about," he continued. "We were kind of fearful of certain things, and we made the decision that the only thing that was going to remedy that was to make a record that was just about the truth and not about what we thought we should be saying. Because of that, I just decided early on that that was the name of the album for no other reason besides that I really liked it."
  • I Like It When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware of It debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart. With 71 characters (including spaces), it broke the record for the longest-ever album title to reach the summit. The previous record holders with 59 characters were LL Cool J's G.O.A.T. Featuring James T. Smith: The Greatest of All Time and the various artists compilation P. Diddy & Bad Boy Present… We Invented the Remix.
