Songfacts®:

  • This is the 4th single from American rock band The All-American Rejects third studio album, When The World Comes Down. It was the first song they wrote for the album, so they spent a lot of time refining it. At one point, lead singer Tyson Ritter rewrote an entire verse.
  • The song first appeared in the 2008 romantic comedy The House Bunny. Lead singer Tyson Ritter played the character Colby in the movie.
  • The song's music video was directed by Paul Hunter (Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey, Eminem, Britney Spears). Ritter told Rolling Stone about the clip: "This video is crazy. The premise is there's been a party that's been going on for days and days and days, and in walks this little vixen with this alpha-male. So she walks in, and throughout the video, it's this sort-of give and take of memories we've had in the past juxtaposed with this trick that we do with these camera phones."

The blond-haired vixen was played by actress Julianna Guill, who is best known for her role as Bree in the horror movie reboot of Friday the 13th.
