Songfacts®:

  • The fourth single from family Country trio The Band Perry's debut album is about longing to find that person to spend your life with. Neil Perry described it to Country Stars Central as "our token hopeless romantic song." It was released to Country radio on August 8, 2011.
  • Brian Henningsen and his daughter Clara wrote the song. The Henningsens are a fifth generation farm family from Illinois who penned or co-penned several other tracks on The Band Perry album after personally playing some songs to the Perry's manager Bob Doyle.
  • The video finds the sibling trio playing the role of a vagabond-performing troupe. That theme inspired the name of their Purveyors of Performance tour, which began August 15, 2011 in Lewisburg, West Virginia.
  • The song became, on the chart dated February 18, 2012, the trio's second #1 Country single following "If I Die Young."

  • Camille from Toronto, OhThis is really a nice song to listen to. Love the lyrics: "I don't want the world. The sun, the moon and all their light. I just wanna be the only girl...you love all your life." Kimberly Perry sings the words in a beautiful, unusual way. This song is much better than their song "If I Die Young".
