• "Time To Kill" was written by The Band's resident guitarist, autoharpist, and songwriter Robbie Robertson, as were all the works on the Stage Fright album. While the song, the only single released from their third album, didn't climb high on the charts, the album was certified gold and got to #5 and #6 on the US and Canadian album charts, respectively.
  
  The album cover came with a fold-out poster which adorned many a hippie wall during the early seventies. That, together with their home base being in Woodstock, New York, gave them an unusual degree of street cred through the 1970s as an authentic voice of the Baby Boomer movement.
  
  This album has two mixes, depending on where it was released. The US version was mixed by producer Todd Rundgren, while the UK version is by producer Glyn Johns. The UK mix became the official LP, the one you're most likely to own. The US mix is on the 2004 CD reissue.
