Songfacts®:

  • The Black Eyed Peas were still going strong in 2010 when they released "Just Can't Get Enough" as the second single from their sixth studio album, The Beginning. Will.i.am, DJ Ammo and Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins produced the track.
  • Apl.de.ap told Beatweek Magazine why he wanted this song to be the follow up to "The Time (Dirty Bit). Said the mohawked Black Eyed Peas co-founder: "It's a different tempo and it's also paying homage to the ladies. It's a love song and it's got a nice melody to it. So I think it would be a great different taste for our listeners."
  • Here's a Songfact for you chart geeks. When "Just Can't Get Enough" jumped to #38 in the Hot 100, it marked the Peas' 14th consecutive top 40 Hot 100 hit. This was the longest streak by a group since the Eagles also linked 14 in 1975-99. Wings hold the all-time record among groups, as all 23 of their chart entries reached the top 40 between 1972-80. Elton John leads all artists with 36 consecutive top 40 hits, from "Rocket Man" in 1972 through to "Nikita" in 1986.
  • The guerrilla-style video was shot over three days in Japan one week before the country was hit by a devastating tsunami and earthquake. "It was the easiest video I ever shot because it was us living our lives," Fergie told Entertainment Tonight. "I love that it's showing a true perspective of how it can sometimes be lonely on the road away from our loved ones. It also demonstrates the love and connection we have with Japan. Our heart goes out to all of the Japanese people who have been affected by this natural disaster."
  • Taboo explained the song's meaning to MTV News: "The message is knowing that when you're gone from somebody, especially when you're on tour, you can't get enough of them or you're just thinking about them and you just want to let them know that you're always there for them."
