Click Five keyboard player Ben Romans describes this song as about being "starstruck over someone. It's not necessarily always about a musician, but in this case it kind of was." At the time he co-wrote it, Ben was dating a girl who was a musician. He says, "it's kind of a reverse psychology, what happens at shows sometimes if you're very into a band.
