Songfacts®:

  • This Graham Nash composition was recorded at Abbey Road Studios on April 4, 1963 as the B-side for the Hollies' first UK hit single, "(Ain't That) Just Like Me." It was later included on the Canadian version of Stay with the Hollies.
  • This was the first song Graham Nash ever wrote. He recalled penning it with Allan Clarke, during a 2016 interview with Mojo. "Sitting on a park bench opposite Regent Road Baths in Salford with our guitars - we were on our way to some pub gig - and we decided we should write something. We realised when you put out a single there's always a B-side that makes as much money as the A-side."
