  • This improbably titled song was the first taste of success for Jeff Lynne when he was lead guitarist for The Idle Race. In the BBC documentary Mr Blue Sky... (first broadcast in October 2012), he showed the camera the original vinyl and the misspelt credit G. Lynn, which he said left him deflated, albeit in somewhat stronger language. Backed by "Sitting In My Tree" it was released in October 1967 on the Liberty label, and disappeared down the memory hole. >>>
