Songfacts®:

  • Kooks singer Luke Pritchard titled this track after the club nights he used to attend in his teens. They were held in the car park of his local Tesco supermarket where cheap beer was readily available. Pritchard told Billboard: "The song is about a female friend who's going down the wrong path. It's just kind of was reminiscent of that time, and a particular friend who you're sort of saying goodbye to and just remembering where we used to hang out."

He added: "Friendship is one of those things that's not like a love relationship - you don't put it in that capacity - but in some ways it's really as, if not more, important. You think friendships can really last forever. That was the first time I ever really wrote a song for a friend. It was a cool exercise to do."
